Wake Forest University celebrated 10 years of the Summer Immersion Program at the Graylyn Estate on September 23, 2025. In attendance were former and current Academic Leaders and university staff members who have each played a role in the success of the program.

Kyla Hollingsworth, AVP & Executive Director, Betsy Schneider, Director, and Andy Chan, VP for Innovation and Career Development, gave speeches that highlighted the impact of the program and celebrated the accomplishments of those in attendance.

Christopher Zaluski, Filmmaking Institute Academic Leader, created a mini documentary that showcased just how transformative Summer Immersion has been for the past 10 years. The heartwarming documentary featured photos from the past decade of programming and interviews from staff and former participants. Each past participant featured in the video is now a current Wake Forest undergraduate, and credits Summer Immersion for the reason they fell in love with Wake.

We are so grateful to have the support of many wonderful university and community partners. Here’s to the future of the Summer Immersion Program.
