Why Donate?
The Wake Forest Summer Immersion Program is designed to be a transformative experience, opening doors to new academic and personal growth opportunities. However, we recognize that the cost of tuition can be a significant barrier for many families, preventing some passionate, driven, and motivated high school students from participating.
We are committed to finding ways to ensure that our program is accessible to all students, regardless of their financial situations. To this end, we are actively fundraising for scholarship support, allowing more students to experience the life-changing opportunities that our program offers.
You’re encouraged to join us in this mission. Your generous donation to the Wake Forest Summer Immersion Program Scholarship Fund can make a profound difference. With your support, we can continue to foster a diverse and inclusive learning environment where every student can participate.

In 2017, Azaria received a full scholarship to attend the Sports Medicine Institute through the Summer Immersion Program. Inspired by the experience, she returned in 2018 to participate in the Health and Exercise Science Institute. The program made such an impact on her that she applied to and enrolled at Wake Forest University, where she pursued a degree in Health and Exercise Science, graduating in 2023.
Azaria credits the Summer Immersion Program as a pivotal influence in her decision to attend Wake Forest. She later served as a Program Ambassador for the Summer Immersion Program, mentoring high school students and giving back to the very program that shaped her college journey. Today, Azaria is a 5th-grade science teacher with Teach For America in Houston, Texas, continuing her passion for education and service.
