Google is so much more than a search engine and Gmail! Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides allow for real-time collaboration, and Google Drive allows for easy file-sharing. This workshop will introduce students to a wide array of Google Apps, and teach students the skills they need to leverage Google Apps for sharing and collaborating.
Hu Womack is an Outreach and Instruction Librarian in the Z. Smith Reynolds Library at Wake Forest University. He graduated from Wake Forest University in 1990 with a BA in English and Studio Art. Hu received his MBA from the Babcock School at Wake Forest in 2000 and completed his LIS degree from UNC-Greensboro in 2008. He currently serves as a member of Research, Instruction and Technology Services team, offering both research instruction and technology workshops to faculty and students. He is also the liaison for both Sociology and Communication and serves on the Freshman Orientation and Advising Committee. Additionally, Hu is one of eighteen faculty fellows assigned to the first-year residence halls.
Meghan Webb is an Instruction & Outreach Librarian at the Z. Smith Reynolds Library, Wake Forest University. She holds a Master of Science in Library Science from the School of Information and Library Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to her appointment at Wake Forest University, Meghan served as a Library Assistant with the Reference Department at the Chapel Hill Public Library. Other experience includes being a Program Associate with World View, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Volunteer with World Teach, serving as a Bilingual English Teacher in San Vito Coto Brus, Costa Rica.
